Agreement to These Terms
The Rostrum Group ("TRG," "we," "us," or "our") provides communication coaching, educational digital products, courses, and related services. By purchasing or downloading any product, or by enrolling in any course or coaching service from us, you ("you" or "the customer") agree to these Terms & Refund Policy.
Our digital products are sold and delivered through our learning platform, Thinkific. When you complete a purchase there, you also agree to any terms presented at checkout. If anything in those checkout terms conflicts with this page, the terms you actively agreed to at the point of sale govern that transaction.
If you do not agree with these terms, please do not purchase or use our products.
What You're Purchasing
Our Field Notes guides, workbooks, and bundles are digital products — typically PDF files and accompanying digital materials. They are delivered electronically and made available for download immediately after purchase. There is no physical product, and nothing will be shipped to you.
Because access to the files is granted instantly, you receive the full value of the product the moment your purchase is complete.
Refund Policy
Because our digital products are delivered instantly and cannot be returned once downloaded, all sales of digital products are final, and we do not offer refunds for digital downloads. We encourage you to read each product description carefully before purchasing so you know exactly what you're getting.
The exceptions we do honor
We want every customer treated fairly. If any of the following happens, contact us and we will make it right — usually with a corrected file or a refund:
- You were charged more than once for the same product.
- The file you received is corrupted, incomplete, or will not download, and we are unable to resolve it.
- You purchased a product but never received access to it.
How to reach us about a problem
Email support@therostrumgroup.com within 14 days of your purchase, include your order confirmation, and describe the issue. We typically respond within 2–3 business days.
This policy applies to digital downloads. Refund and cancellation terms for coaching and course services are described in Section Seven.
How You May Use It
When you purchase a digital product, we grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use it for your own individual, non-commercial purposes. The materials remain the intellectual property of The Rostrum Group.
Please do not
- Resell, redistribute, or share the files with others, whether for free or for payment.
- Reproduce, republish, or post the contents publicly or on any platform.
- Use the materials to create competing products or services.
- Remove or alter any branding, attribution, or copyright notices.

Educational Purpose & No Guarantees
Our products and services are educational and informational in nature. They are designed to help you develop communication skills, confidence, and clarity. They are not a substitute for professional legal, medical, psychological, financial, or career advice.
Communication outcomes depend on many factors outside our control — your effort, your circumstances, your audience, and more. For that reason, we do not guarantee any specific result, including but not limited to job offers, media performance, business outcomes, relationship outcomes, or any particular response from any audience. Examples, testimonials, and case studies reflect individual experiences and are not promises of similar results.
Our materials are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, The Rostrum Group and its founder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your purchase or use of our products or services.
In any case, our total liability to you for any claim relating to a product or service shall not exceed the amount you actually paid for that product or service.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.
Coaching & Course Services
Online courses and one-to-one coaching engagements are governed by the specific terms, scope, schedule, and payment arrangements set out in the agreement or enrollment confirmation for that service.
Note
The instant-delivery refund rules in Section Three apply to digital downloads only. Refund and cancellation terms for courses and coaching are provided in each program's enrollment agreement.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Changes apply to purchases made after the updated terms are posted. Your continued use of our products or services after an update means you accept the revised terms.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute relating to these terms or to our products and services will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Utah, and you agree to that jurisdiction.
